We Remember

Today; the 11th day of the 11th month, we remember those who lost their lives fighting for our freedom. On the 11th minute of the 11th hour we pause in respect for these brave souls. Throughout the month we proudly wear poppies over our hearts. Parades and ceremonies are held throughout the country in towns large and small.

Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae's classic poem In Flanders Fields is recited..

We sing our national anthem O Canada.

And God Save the Queen.

Followed by Last Post and a moment of silence.

Today, we remember.
Lest we forget.
